NASA has revealed the movement of a massive, super-fast object traversing the Milky Way galaxy to which Earth belongs at incredible speeds. Scientists from the agency noted that "the mysterious object is moving at a speed of one million miles per hour" when they observed it over 400 light years away from Earth, with one light year equating to six trillion miles, according to the British newspaper Daily Mail.

Experts have not determined the nature of the newly discovered celestial body, speculating it might be a "brown dwarf," which is a star larger than a planet but lacking the mass required to sustain long-term nuclear fusion at its core like Earth's sun. According to NASA, the object is more than 27,306 times the size of Earth and is hurtling through our galaxy quickly enough that it may eventually escape the Milky Way.

German citizen scientist Martin Kabatnik, a longtime member of NASA's "Backyard Worlds" program, stated in a statement, "I can't describe the level of excitement." The researcher, who resides in Nuremberg, Germany, admitted, "When I first saw how fast it was moving, I was convinced it must have been reported already."
