The Israeli army claimed it was attacking targets of "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon in response to drone launches and anti-tank missile attacks. They admitted that three Israeli soldiers were seriously injured due to an anti-tank missile hitting a military site in the Al-Manara area, while another soldier was seriously injured and another sustained moderate injuries from the crash of a drone.
Israeli airstrikes targeted areas around Yater, Beit Lif, Kfarchouba, Rashaya al-Fukhkar, the Al-Rajm neighborhood in Aita al-Shaab, and Majdal Zoun without any reported casualties. In contrast, the Islamic Resistance announced in a statement that in "support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip," the fighters targeted an assembly of enemy soldiers near the Al-Asi site (opposite Mays al-Jabal) with guided missiles, achieving direct hits.
In a statement, Hezbollah declared: "We executed an attack against the Israeli occupation forces using three attack drones, the first of which targeted the Yiftah Qadish barracks (in occupied Quds village), while the other two targeted a recently established gathering east of the Hatzodot Yoshua settlement (in occupied Nabi Yoush village), achieving confirmed hits."
Following this, the Israeli army shelled the eastern outskirts of Mays al-Jabal and the Al-Mahamas hill with artillery shells, and bombarded the vicinity of the Al-Asi site with artillery and phosphorous shells. Hezbollah also announced that they had targeted gatherings of occupation forces between Hdib Al-Bustan and Berka Risha, as well as in the Dahira forest with missile weapons, achieving direct hits. They also confirmed targeting the Ramim site and hitting a hostile infantry group in the Shatula forest with guided missiles, hitting them directly.
Israeli media reported the launch of three anti-tank missiles towards one of the army camps in the Margalit area near the Lebanese border. Sirens sounded in western Galilee following reports of a drone infiltrating. Afterwards, Israeli warplanes carried out an air raid between Mays al-Jabal and Hawla. There was recorded Israeli artillery shelling on the outskirts between Marouhine and Um al-Tout, and sirens went off in the UNIFIL center in Nakoura. Israeli shells fell near the government hospital in Mays al-Jabal.
Hussein Yassin, the director of Mays al-Jabal Hospital, reported damage to the emergency department due to Israeli shelling and minor injuries to an emergency physician. It was reported that the Lebanese army evacuated its position in the Berr esh-Shuayb area in the town of Blida in the central sector. A military source clarified that there is no fixed army center in this area, but rather a non-stationary point where personnel are occasionally present, therefore the claim of evacuation is not correct.
The Al-Risala Association for Health Assistance evacuated a family in Mays al-Jabal after their home was bombed, with information suggesting minor injuries. The Islamic Resistance targeted the Metula settlement with a guided missile. Israeli artillery bombarded the outskirts of the towns of Adaisseh and Kfarkala, using incendiary bombs.
In Tyre, artillery bombardment was recorded in the Lubona area and Nakoura. Israeli media indicated that an anti-tank missile was fired at the Al-Manara border area with Lebanon, to which the army responded with artillery fire. This morning, Israeli forces intermittently shelled the Ramya- Beit Lif-Alqozah triangle and the surrounding areas of the towns of Nakoura and Alama al-Shaab, along with heavy machine gun fire at Lubona.
Meanwhile, reconnaissance aircraft did not leave the skies over the area and the border villages up to Tyre from the morning. There was a cautious calm in the eastern sector in the morning after towns in the Marjeyoun district experienced a difficult evening, where the towns of Burj Al-Muluk, Kharj Al-Khiam, Wazani, Hammams, Adaisseh, and Al-Bouayda were subjected to intense artillery fire with phosphorous bombs and heavy shells, damaging several inhabited homes in Al-Bouayda, but fortunately, none were harmed as the residents had evacuated.
The town of Adaisseh also witnessed violent clashes after the Islamic Resistance targeted the Maskeef Am settlement and the Metula with concentrated shelling from Lebanon. Artillery fire also hit the outskirts of the Al-Bustan town in the western sector, igniting fires in Wadi Al-Aleeq. At night, the Israeli army illuminated the sky over the western and central sectors with illumination flares, extending to the outskirts of the towns of Al-Aziyah and Al-Haniyah.
