Iraqi Resistance Attacks Vital Target in Eilat with Drones

The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" announced early Wednesday morning that it attacked a vital target in Eilat, southern Israel, using drones, confirming that "operations to strike the enemy's strongholds will continue at an escalating pace." In a statement, the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" said: "Continuing in our approach to resist occupation, supporting our people in Palestine, and in response to the massacres committed by the occupying entity against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq today, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, attacked a vital target in northern Eilat using drones." The statement added: "The Islamic Resistance confirms the continuation of operations to strike the enemy's strongholds at an escalating pace." The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" had previously confirmed on early Sunday that it targeted a vital objective in the city of Eilat with drones, reiterating its ongoing operations at an increased pace.

From time to time, the "Resistance Factions in Iraq" carry out rocket attacks on areas in Israel and American bases in Syria and Iraq, responding to the Israeli war on Gaza. As the Yemeni "Ansar Allah" movement (Houthis) moved to the "fifth phase" of escalation with Israel by targeting Tel Aviv with a drone that exploded, resulting in one death and injuries, Israeli retaliation followed in the Al Hudaydah governorate in Yemen, causing casualties. The "Kata'ib Hezbollah" in Iraq affirmed its "support and readiness to stand united in all confrontation arenas against the enemy."
