The Israeli opposition leader and Knesset member criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, describing it as "disorderly and bad." Opposition leader Yair Lapid attacked Netanyahu's government, stating: "We have a government that is crazily dysfunctional and violent with internal wars where no one decides anything." He added, "We have never had such a dysfunctional government at the worst times for the people of Israel." Lapid continued, "This is a failing government that does nothing, cares neither for the south nor for the north." In turn, Knesset member Gideon Sa'ar said: "Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot fought the war alongside Netanyahu in a failed manner." Sa'ar added, "This government is bad and has failed in everything it does." The Knesset member concluded, "Israel needs unity, real management, and caution... none of this will happen with the government in its current composition."
