Assurances and Understanding… What July Will Bring

The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Anbaa" reported from a Lebanese official, stating that there is a formula being worked on that could lead to a compromise, linked to the Lebanese front and the entry of Hezbollah as a very influential factor in the negotiation equation through the field. This has strengthened Hamas's position in the ongoing negotiations in the Qatari capital, Doha, which have not ceased and are continuing to reach an agreement on the implementation mechanism of U.S. President Joe Biden's plan, which has become internationalized through the United Nations Security Council.

The most significant piece of information revealed by the official is that there is an existing understanding within the axis led by Iran, stating that no matter how intense the Israeli escalation and military operations become, July should pass without significant reactions leading to widespread explosion. The official mentioned that those who have endured Israeli provocations for eight months can withstand one more month, while maintaining red lines that cannot be breached, which involve not remaining silent on any attacks targeting the Lebanese interior that get close to the outskirts of Beirut and its southern suburbs.

The official confirmed that assurances have arrived in Lebanon indicating that the Iranian-American understanding to avoid widening the war is still in place, and there is no harm in Hezbollah enduring further provocations aimed at dragging it into a wider war. He added that missing the opportunity for the Israelis requires more patience until a ceasefire is reached, and negotiations begin regarding the political implementation of international resolutions concerning Lebanon, particularly Resolution 1701, which is related to stabilizing the land borders and the withdrawal of Israel from the Lebanese territories it still occupies behind the international border line, according to "Al-Anbaa."
