The CEO of Saudi Arabia's "NEOM," Nadhmi Al-Nasr, revealed that there are numerous investments in the city, indicating that the United Kingdom has about 400 leading companies in the northwestern region of the kingdom. Speaking during the "Great Futures" initiative conference organized by the British government in partnership with Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in Riyadh, he mentioned that the city hosts over 900 men and women from Britain who work, live, and enjoy the experience of "NEOM."
He addressed NEOM Airport and how it can be utilized to expand various partnerships with the United Kingdom, stating that Saudi Arabia is considered one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, and that NEOM is viewed as a global destination. He added, "We welcome everyone and visitors looking to experience the Gulf coast, as well as the luxurious experience of visiting the city."
Al-Nasr highlighted the ongoing work in "NEOM" on a circular economy, a carbon-free approach, and innovative design aimed at redefining urban life, enhancing sustainability, and improving quality of life. According to Nadhmi Al-Nasr, "We have employees from more than 100 countries around the world, with over 100,000 working round the clock, and this number will increase over the coming year."
