The Israeli army distributed 10,000 sets of playing cards to its soldiers in the Gaza Strip, featuring pictures of wanted Hamas leaders, including Yahya Sinwar. The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the army provided its soldiers in Gaza with cards displaying the faces of prominent figures in Hamas, describing the move as a "psychological warfare" tactic to confuse the movement's officials in the tunnels. The newspaper noted that the playing cards given to the soldiers include 52 images of Hamas figures, among them Yahya Sinwar and the "mysterious" head of the military wing, Mohammed Deif.
