Condolences for Nasrallah's Mother's Passing and Funeral Details

Political and religious figures, both local and regional, have expressed their condolences to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah following the death of his mother, Nahidiyah Safieddine, known as "Um Hassan," the wife of Abdul Karim Nasrallah.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri contacted Nasrallah's family to offer his condolences. He expressed his solidarity with the family in their grief, praying for the late mother's mercy and a place in paradise for her.

Immediately after the announcement of Nasrallah's mother's death, mourning ceremonies were held at the Martyrs' Garden Hall in Shiah. Present at the funeral were Berri's political aide, MP Ali Hassan Khalil, the head of Hezbollah's executive council, Sayyed Hashim Safieddine, Nasrallah's siblings, and a large crowd of citizens.

MP Ibrahim al-Mousawi, a member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, gave a statement mourning Nasrallah's mother, saying, "May God have mercy on the mother who gave birth to the greatest blessing, the pride of Arabs and Muslims, the glory of the nation, and the symbol of its dignity and strength." He concluded by saying, "May God increase your rewards, our leader, and grant you a long life."

Meanwhile, Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, Deputy Head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, extended heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to Hassan Nasrallah for the loss of his mother, expressing grief over the passing of this patient and steadfast woman. He prayed for her mercy and for the family to be granted patience and solace.

In a statement, Hezbollah announced the death of Abdul Karim Nasrallah’s wife and the mother of its Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, noting that she would be buried at the Martyrs' Garden. Condolences can be offered before and after the burial at the Imam Sadr Husseiniyah in Martyrs' Garden.

Hezbollah released an official statement on Saturday evening mourning Nasrallah's mother, who passed away after battling illness. Wiam Wahhab, head of the Arab Unity Party, commented on social media, stating, "The mother of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is enough. It is enough pride for her that her son changed the Arab mind and moved it from perpetual defeat to the hope of victory. She departed with a proud heart, honored by her struggle in life."

Additionally, the spokesperson for the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen, Mohamed Abdulsalam, offered heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to Hassan Nasrallah for the loss of his beloved mother, praying for her mercy and place in paradise, and for her family to be granted patience.

Mehdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, also sent a condolence message to Nasrallah regarding his mother’s passing, expressing his warm condolences and sympathy to Nasrallah and all family members, praying for the late woman's mercy and for the protection of her family’s hearts with patience and solace.
