Today, Friday, the 29th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival kicked off, featuring a schedule full of diverse entertainment and promotional activities throughout the city over 38 days. This year's events are designed to enhance the satisfaction of children and youth, with the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment—organizers of the festival—making significant efforts to ensure the provision of recreational activities suitable for this segment of society during the school holidays.
The current edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival offers a variety of exciting activities such as bungee jumping, large inflatable games, open markets, vibrant seasonal markets, mobile entertainment events, Dubai light shows, and drone displays organized by Emirates Petroleum.
The "Cantina X" event, which will take place at Mushrif Park from December 15 to 31, combines dining and entertainment experiences and offers activities specifically for children and youth, such as inflatable games, trampolining, bungee jumping, along with delicious food from around the city.
The acrobatic dance show "Slava's Snowshow" will be presented at Dubai Opera from today until December 10. This show is a modern global production that has received excellent reviews and audience attendance worldwide since its inception in 1993.
For the first time this year, the Dubai Shopping Festival will feature the "Soul DXB 2023" festival during the opening weekend in Dubai Design District, offering incredible entertainment experiences, lifestyle, and community culture, along with live performances, DJ parties, sports competitions, panel discussions, workshops, and a hip-hop music presentation by artist Busta Rhymes.
The "Dubai Tunes" evenings will present the finest concerts by local artists inside shopping malls and outdoors from January 5 to 14.
