Riad: It Is Our Right to Defend Our Homeland

Deputy Mohammad Raad, head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, stated that "what Israel has done through its savage and barbaric aggression against Gaza, the crimes it has committed against humanity, the killing of women and children, the extermination of civilians, and the destruction of homes, schools, and hospitals, if we wanted to spend billions of dollars over the years, we would not be able to show the global public the savage reality of the Israeli actions that we have warned against regarding its danger to the world and humanity as a whole." He noted that "the Israelis have not set a limit to their aggression; they are waging a long-term war aimed at the political extermination of Hamas, fully aware that crushing Hamas means crushing the Palestinian people. There are rulers and regimes in our region that still hesitate to publicly condemn this arrogant enemy."

Raad saw that "what is required through the United Nations is to expel the Zionist entity from its membership. If there is any honor for the rulers and countries in our region, then the first thing they should do, and what this honor imposes, is to cut their relations, even temporarily, with the Zionist entity. Unfortunately, there is a tendency toward normalization and tolerance of the crimes of the Zionist entity, alongside a persistence in ignorance and moral and political collapse, as well as a popular and communal downfall."

Regarding the Lebanese situation, he mentioned that "we see the insanity of the Zionist enemy who is acting in Gaza, and we must warn, remain vigilant, and take initiatives in support of the people of Gaza and in defense of our sovereignty, drawing the enemy's attention to the red lines it must respect." He emphasized that "we pay the price of this stance with sacrifices and martyrs, but what we pay is far less than if we allowed the enemy to continue its madness against Lebanon. We defend all of Lebanon, guarding national sovereignty and national security."

He confirmed that "we are still at the beginning of the road, and we have not yet used what we have prepared for our war against the Israeli enemy. We are not intimidated by its threats or the slogans it spreads through international brokers in order to divert our people from any of our areas in the south." He considered that "it is our right to exercise the right to defend our homeland, and we identify the method of defense, as all that the enemy dreams of is mere pipe dreams; we will not be lured into discussions of its delusions and arrogance."

He added, "We are not in a rush, but we present our vision and see that Zionism represents a monstrous criminal threat that jeopardizes the security and stability of societies, states, and peoples everywhere. We present to the world our vision for preserving security and stability in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, and all countries, and we urge the world to adhere to international institutions that are not biased toward imperialist states, so that the world may adhere to a single standard of truth, justice, and equality."
