Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern Lebanon

The outskirts of the town of Aytarun were subjected to intermittent Israeli artillery shelling originating from Israeli army positions within Palestinian territories. Israeli shells also hit the areas of Al-Dahira and Alama Al-Shaab, with artillery fire targeting homes in the town of Al-Jabain. Direct shelling affected the outskirts of Aita Al-Shaab, Al-Jabain, and Al-Dahira, as well as the regions of Al-Labuna, Al-Tabasheen, and the outskirts of Naqoura. The eastern edges of Naqoura and the Al-Rweisat area were also bombarded. Two shells fell on a hill near the Bishop's area in Sarda, and the northern outskirts of Mays Al-Jabal were targeted. The outskirts of Houla and Wadi Al-Jamal were hit by three artillery shells.

The Israeli army escalated its actions, targeting residents participating in the funeral procession of Hassan Ma'in Sarour in his hometown of Aita Al-Shaab with an airstrike on the roof of a building less than forty meters from the funeral procession. The Israeli army conducted aggression targeting the outskirts of Aita Al-Shaab, creating thick smoke clouds from the bombing site, according to Al-Markaziyah.

Citizen G. Al-Anz from the town of Al-Mari sustained minor injuries due to the shelling in the Al-Mari area while he was engaged in agricultural work, and his excavator was damaged. An aerial attack targeted the home of citizen Hussein Khreizat in the Kilometre 9 area in Aytarun with two guided missiles, causing significant damage.

At precisely 3:10 PM, the outskirts of the Yaron forest were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling from Israeli army positions within occupied Palestinian territories. Enemy reconnaissance aircraft flew over the western and central sectors in the south, surveying the skies over Naqoura, Alama Al-Shaab, and Maroun Al-Ras, passing through the airspace of Al-Dahira, Al-Bustan, and Yarın, reaching Aita Al-Shaab extending to Ramesh, Yaron, and Maroun Al-Ras, and Bint Jbeil in the central sector at a medium altitude. This coincided with the launch of illuminating flares over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the towns of Al-Mansouri and Majdal Zun.

Subsequently, it was reported that intermittent Israeli artillery shelling targeted the western outskirts of the town of Blei. Airstrikes also targeted a launch site and a military building belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
