Radulovic Calls Up 29 Players for Tripoli Camp

The head coach of the Lebanese national team, Montenegrin Miodrag Radulovic, has summoned 29 players for an internal camp that will take place in the city of Tripoli from the 19th to the 28th of this month. The roster includes the return of some players who have been absent from the international scene, such as defenders Nour Mansour, Hassan Shaaito "Shabriqo," and Alex Malaki, as well as winger Khalil Badr, midfielder Mohammed Ali Dahine, and strikers Gabriel Bitar and Daniel Lahoud.

There are notable absences of some players who have frequently participated recently due to injuries (Jihad Ayyub, Majid Othman, and Hassan Korani). Young forward Leonardo Shahin will be present for the first time, having recently obtained a Lebanese passport after reclaiming his nationality.

The team, under Radulovic's leadership and the coaching staff, will start the camp on Tuesday, where they will engage in daily training sessions at the Rashid Karami Municipal Stadium in Tripoli. It is worth noting that the duo of Bangkok United's Bassel Grady and AFC Wimbledon’s Omar Shaaban Boughel will miss this camp due to their commitments with their teams but are expected to join the delegation arriving in the Qatari capital, Doha, on January 1st, in preparation for an international friendly match against the Saudi national team three days later.

This camp is part of our preparations for the AFC Asian Cup finals, where we will play the opening match against the host and defending champion Qatar on the 12th of the same month.
