A security source reported today, Monday, that 5 visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage were killed and injured in traffic accidents in the provinces of Baghdad and Wasit. The source told "Baghdad Today" that "two visitors were killed and two others were injured due to an unintentional hit-and-run incident by a civilian vehicle near the Darwish intersection south of the capital, Baghdad." It was noted that "a child among the visitors was killed in a collision between a 'Stouta' motorcycle and a large 'trailer' vehicle on the visitors' road in the Al-Ahrar district of Wasit province," adding that "this incident is the second of its kind within 12 hours."
