The Saudi Attorney General, Sheikh Saud Al-Muajab, issued warnings regarding the security of Hajj and the pilgrims, stating that it is a "red line." He emphasized that there can be no pilgrimage without a permit and that the Public Prosecution will enforce strict penalties on violators.
In an interview with the Saudi news channel "Al-Ikhbariya," posted on its official account on the X platform, Sheikh Saud Al-Muajab stated, "The Public Prosecution is ready to serve the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God by ensuring the swift handling of cases related to pilgrims and protecting their rights, with our motto being 'swift justice'."
He added, "We will implement regulations on campaigns that fall short in fulfilling their duties toward the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, and we will enforce strict rules and penalties on anyone who performs Hajj without a permit."
The Attorney General emphasized, "We always say that the security of the pilgrims is everyone's responsibility, and we do not tolerate any violations against pilgrims, nor the introduction of matters inappropriate for them. We assert that the safety and security of the pilgrims is a red line that cannot be violated, and by God's will, the Public Prosecution will fulfill its role in this matter."
