The Israel Defense Forces targeted Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure within Lebanon and an arms depot for the Syrian army in Syria. Air force jets conducted strikes on military infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the Jabal Blat area, eliminating an operative present at the site, as well as targeting a military building in the Bent Jbeil area.
In response, Hezbollah announced that it "targeted the Branit barracks with a 'Falak 1' missile, achieving a direct hit," as well as targeting "a gathering of enemy soldiers around the al-Dahayra site with missile fire, resulting in a direct hit." The skies over the south witnessed the activity of warplanes in the early morning hours.
