Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, the Deputy of the Ruler's Court in the Al Dhafra region, honored the winners of the first day of the Ghayathi Falcon Championship, which started this Saturday morning, under the patronage of the Ruler's Court in the Al Dhafra region. The championship features more than 200 participants from the most distinguished falcon owners in the country, with a large audience of fans of traditional sports.

The championship sees wide participation from the most skilled falconers from various emirates of the country. The owners' race included four different heats for the falcon category, namely Gyr Taba, Gyr Shaheen, Pure, and Qarmoush, with intense competition to achieve record times in these heats.

In the pure falcon owners' category, the results revealed that "019," owned by Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Kindi, took first place with a time of 18.004 seconds, second place went to "Nan," owned by Saeed Abdullah Hlais Jumaa, with a time of 18.457 seconds, third place was "Al Feel," owned by Hamad Abdullah Jumaa Al Falasi, with a time of 18.559 seconds, fourth place went to "Al Qarm," owned by Hamdan Mubarak Al Mansouri, with a time of 18.789 seconds, and fifth place was secured by "Al Shababi," owned by Abdullah Mohammed Al Amri, with a time of 18.840 seconds.

In the Gyr Taba owners' category, the results showed that "T21," owned by Mohammed Thaloub Al Drieei, won first place with a time of 19.541 seconds, second place went to "25," owned by Ahmed Salem Al Shadi, with a time of 19.646 seconds, third place was "T4," owned by Jumaa Abdullah Al Falahi, with a time of 19.758 seconds, fourth place went to "RBJ," owned by Abdul Wahab Salem Hussein Sha'il, with a time of 19.764 seconds, and fifth place was "Maskat," owned by Mohammed Ali Abdullah with a time of 20.100 seconds.

The "Gyr Shaheen for the Falcon Owners" category witnessed fierce competition among the participants, who were keen to intensify their preparations to reach the podium. The results revealed that "Al Asmar," owned by Abdul Aziz Saeed Al Kindi, won first place with a time of 10.503 seconds, second place went to "X," owned by Fahd Mohammed Saqr Al Mansouri, with a time of 17.174 seconds, third place was "Al Metro," owned by Khalifa Abdullah Hlais Jumaa, with a time of 17.402 seconds, fourth place went to "50," owned by Bateeh Ahmed Mohammed, with a time of 17.458 seconds, and fifth place was "Fard," owned by Khalfan Ajlan Al Marikhi, with a time of 17.591 seconds.

In the Qarmoush Gyr owners' category, the results indicated that "65," owned by Abdullah Rashid Al Mansouri, took first place with a time of 19.283 seconds, second place went to "025," owned by Bateeh Ahmed Mohammed, with a time of 19.430 seconds, third place was "Makhoulah," owned by Omar Abdullah Obaid Al Amri, with a time of 19.495 seconds, fourth place went to "G12," owned by Zayed Abed Al Falahi, with a time of 19.506 seconds, and fifth place was "H82," owned by Hamad Abdullah Al Falasi, with a time of 19.538 seconds.
