The Director of Baghdad International Airport, Captain Harith Al-Obeidi, revealed today, Saturday, the mechanism for entering the airport following its complete opening to citizens, noting that the airport will see additional projects in the coming days. Al-Obeidi stated in an interview with Al-Sumaria News that "the airport administration has designated more than six entry points for the airport after the decision to open it, including a special line for VIPs, a line for taxi companies, another line for (VIP) passengers, and a line for travelers’ companions and drop-off, along with other lines." He clarified that "all these entry points have been organized by the airport administration, as well as the specific security procedures." Al-Obeidi added that "the procedures will be simplified and not complicated until the traveler or companion reaches the airport lounges," pointing out that "Baghdad Airport will witness several projects in the coming days in the lounges and surrounding areas to improve the quality of services provided to travelers." The Minister of Transport, Razak Muhaibs Al-Saadawi, officially opened Baghdad International Airport today, Saturday, to the movement of travelers and citizens completely.
