The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned today, Sunday, of an "expected weather phenomenon." The authority, in a statement on Facebook, warned of the spread of light fog from 4 AM to 8 AM on some agricultural and main roads and near water bodies, leading to and from areas of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and the northern coasts. The statement emphasized the need for citizens to be cautious to avoid traffic accidents due to reduced visibility, noting that wind movement is moderate and may become active at times in all areas. The authority indicated that the state of the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and wind direction from the northwest. Meanwhile, the Red Sea will be light to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1 to 1.5 meters and wind direction also from the northwest.
