The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that “for 100 days, Gaza has been steadfast, in a heroic state of resistance, which can be said to be unmatched in history, with two million people in a narrow, besieged area, and various Palestinian resistance factions are fighting valiantly in the Gaza Strip.” During a commemorative event in the town of Kharbet Selm in southern Lebanon, he noted that “Israel, in its war against Gaza, is the most secretive and tight-lipped regarding news than in any other war, with writers, analysts, and experts agreeing that Israel is drowning in failure.” He asked, “What has the enemy achieved? They have not reached any form of victory, which is a consensus among the Zionists.”
Nasrallah stated: “After a hundred days, the Zionists say they will enter the third phase, which requires withdrawing from northern Gaza, and the data indicates that they have moved most of their troops from residential neighborhoods to open areas. The enemy could not eliminate the resistance or overthrow the Hamas government, and all regions that the enemy did not enter are managed by Hamas. They could not stop the rockets from northern Gaza to Tel Aviv and the Gaza envelope settlements.” He emphasized that “the enemy defeated numerous Arab armies in six days, but after 100 days they are still fighting in northern Gaza and Khan Younis against resistance factions that possess resistance capabilities and strong faith. The enemy is increasingly confused and bewildered... In terms of human losses, yesterday and today, enemy media reported new figures stating that 4,000 soldiers are now disabled, meaning they are military casualties out of service in 100 days, some say this could reach 30,000 disabled... How many wounded are there?"
Nasrallah pointed out that “in scientific and objective calculations, the enemy's human losses are unprecedented on all fronts; what is the real number of deaths?” He added: “The biggest disaster for Israel will occur when the war stops and what has befallen this entity and what the resistance in Gaza, in particular, and other resistance fronts, have inflicted upon it; half of the population of this entity is suffering from psychological trauma and needs psychological treatment.”
He explained that “what is happening from international trials against the entity shakes the image of the entity and reveals the extent of the moral collapse of the West that supported it.” He reiterated the importance of knowing the extent of the losses the entity has suffered over 100 days so that our region's peoples and the sacrifices in our region understand that the blood of the oppressed children and women has not been shed in vain but has achieved accomplishments for Palestine and the region.”
Nasrallah considered that “if this trend continues in Gaza, the West Bank, Yemen, Lebanon, or Iraq, the enemy government will have no choice but to submit to the resistance and stop the war, just as the Americans and their Western allies worked to thwart or prevent support fronts and launched a psychological war against these fronts in Lebanon or Yemen, and this has been overlooked and is now over and has collapsed. The proof of its ineffectiveness is the Americans and their allies moving to threats and warnings in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.” He said that “the Americans threaten with Israeli strikes and assassinations in Iraq and Lebanon and aggression in Yemen, but it has not been effective; the Americans fall into contradiction when they speak of widening the scope of the war.”
He clarified that “if President Joe Biden and his allies think that aggression against Yemen can stop the Yemenis, they are ignorant... and their arrogant mentality makes them foolish.” Nasrallah affirmed that “what the Americans have done will lead to the continued targeting of Israeli ships heading to occupied Palestine, but the more dangerous thing is that what the Americans did will harm navigation security in the sea even for ships that have nothing to do with the matter.” He pointed out that “the Americans try to present it as if there is an international coalition, which is not true; the coalition is American-British, and they brought in an Arab state, Bahrain. Here we must commend the stance of Bahrain's scholars and people, who condemned the position of the Al Khalifa government. Biden and his administration are mistaken if they think they are threatening Iran; the decision is Yemeni, just like in Lebanon.”
He added that “what the Islamic resistance in Iraq announced regarding targeting a location in Haifa with a cruise missile, our information confirms that a sensitive target was hit, and the enemy concealed it. The extent of the concealment on the Lebanese front regarding losses and targets is significant. I will take as an example the Miron base, but the enemy did not acknowledge it and spoke of the falling of rockets on strategic facilities; however, what the resistance filmed showed the opposite.”
Nasrallah announced that “the resistance launched 62 rockets at the Miron base, including 40 Katyusha rockets for diversion and 22 Kornet rockets of a new range. I assure you that 18 Kornet rockets hit the base, and the enemy had to acknowledge that part of it was hit, but enemy media spoke about damage and our information confirms that there were human injuries.” He indicated that “the Safed base in northern Palestine was targeted with drones. Were it not for some soldiers' and settlers' photography of the damages, the enemy would have claimed that the drones fell in empty areas. In contrast, we proudly announce our martyrs, but the enemy conceals its dead, losses, and defeats.”
He added: “The American says if you do not stop on the Lebanese front, the enemy will launch a war against you, and I say that this has not been effective for 100 days and cannot be effective any day. The threat that the Israeli will transfer its brigades from Gaza to Lebanon... what are they threatening with? With their exhausted and defeated brigades in northern Gaza, they come to threaten Lebanon?” He threatened, saying: “Those who should fear war and be afraid of war are Israel and the enemy army and their settlers; these are the ones who should be afraid, not Lebanon. We have been ready for war for 99 days; we do not fear it and will embrace it. Just as we said, we will fight without ceilings or restrictions if imposed on us.”
Nasrallah concluded by saying: “The American who presents himself as being concerned for Lebanon should fear for his tool in the region, Israel. Therefore, our stance is clear: the Lebanese front is to support Gaza, assist Gaza, and stand with Gaza, aiming to stop the aggression on Gaza... The aggression on Gaza must cease first, and then we can discuss other matters.”
