The Aounist Current to the President of the Forces: Be Silent!

The Central Media and Communication Committee of "The Free Patriotic Movement" issued the following statement: "In response to Samir Geagea, who insists on launching his hateful arrows towards President Michel Aoun and the Free Patriotic Movement: You are the only one who has created hell by attempting to undermine the presidency and stabbing it in the back, by remaining silent on the Syrian displacement for thirteen years, by supporting terrorist organizations, through an isolationist and extremist discourse, and by betting on foreign intervention, reminiscing about illusory dangerous adventures and dreams of returning to the era of armed militias to dominate once again. This is aside from mentioning your extensive history of undermining any attempt at understanding and the hellish practices that have led Lebanon and Christians into a tunnel from which we have struggled long to emerge. Silence, and return to whatever remains of your reason, not out of pity for you personally, but for those you represent, for the Christian community, and for Lebanon."
