In Zgharta... Impersonated Security Identity and Committed Robbery at Gunpoint

On July 29, 2024, a person named (A.R., born in 1995, Lebanese) reported that an unknown individual brandished a handgun at him and threatened him after impersonating a security officer, stealing $150 from him in the town of Alma, Zgharta, and fleeing to an unknown location. Immediately, the relevant units in the Information Division initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend him. As a result of inquiries and investigations, the division was able to identify him within hours as: M.S. (born in 2001, Lebanese), who has a history of crimes including attempted murder and theft. On the same date, following precise surveillance, one of the division's patrols managed to arrest him in the Alma area while he was riding a white motorbike without license plates, which was seized. Upon searching him and the motorbike, a type of narcotic pill known as "Neurexal" was found. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him. Legal procedures were carried out against him, and he was placed with the confiscated items at the competent authority based on the judicial direction.
