After the "Fake" Image: The Truth Behind the Rumors About Kate Middleton and the British Royal Family

After the

In recent hours, many rumors have circulated widely regarding what is happening with the British royal family, especially concerning the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. The rumors included news about "flag lowering in Britain," changes to the BBC's main social media accounts logo to a black color signaling expected news about the royal family, as well as ambiguity surrounding Kate Middleton's health and perhaps her death, and allegations of infidelity by Prince William towards his wife Kate.

However, it has become clear that the circulating news, alleged images, and tweets spreading on social media are completely unfounded. Flag lowering has never occurred, and the image shared on social media was of the British embassy flag in Ankara, Turkey, in 2022 at the time of Queen Elizabeth's death. The rumor regarding Kate Middleton's death is entirely false, as no official statement has been made to that effect; on the contrary, reassurances have been issued regarding the improvement of her health condition.

As for allegations of Prince William's infidelities, there is currently no evidence to support such rumors. The royal palace had announced that Kate would undergo abdominal surgery, described by some as a difficult procedure, but one from which she is expected to emerge healthy; the surgery was successfully performed. Kensington Palace announced that Kate would not resume her royal duties until Easter, likely on March 31st.

A few days ago, Kate shared a picture of herself with her children on Mother's Day; however, major news agencies suspended its publication due to manipulation, prompting Princess Kate to admit that she was responsible for it and had made some alterations using photo-editing software, although rumors continued to cast doubt on this.

The latest official news came yesterday, Sunday, when the royal palace stated that the princess would return to her royal duties in a month. According to the Sunday Times, there were eyewitnesses who saw the princess picking up her children from school. The Daily Mail reported that the Princess of Wales was seen looking "happy, healthy, and relaxed" while visiting a local store over the weekend, marking her first public appearance since undergoing her planned abdominal surgery.

Reports indicate that Kate and William were seen at one of their favorite spots, about a mile from their home in Adelaide, Windsor, on Saturday after watching their three children—George, 10 years old, Charlotte, 8 years old, and Louis, 5 years old—participate in sports.

However, British newspapers believe there is a real family issue between William and his wife. An official photo is expected to be taken for their youngest son's 6th birthday, in accordance with royal traditions, where the prince and princess are required to capture and release an official image with their son to the public.

Recent shots taken by royal photographers last Monday afternoon showed the princess in a car alongside Prince William. Nonetheless, the rumor mill remains active, as several social media users immediately speculated that the image was also edited. This picture comes a week after Prince William missed a formal event for ambiguous "personal reasons."
