The popular Saidi artist and 'Kef' singer, Mohamed Haggag Youssef, known as Hamada Awaawa, passed away after suffering from kidney failure. He lived in the center of Esna, south of Luxor, Egypt. Just a few days ago, the strong-voiced artist performed at an event in his hometown. During his performance, he became emotional and cried on stage, expressing touching words to his audience, who responded with prayers for his health. He said, "I feel like I only have a few days left..." accompanied by tears, as if he knew his time was near. Hamada Awaawa was scheduled to perform at an event in Luxor that night, but fate had other plans, and he was taken away from life and his loved ones. His funeral was held amidst a state of sadness and grief, attended by a large crowd of townspeople, fans, and lovers of Saidi 'Kef' music from Luxor and the Saidi region.
