Arab Parliament Condemns Israel's Installation of a Tower on Al-Aqsa Mosque's Wall

The Arab Parliament condemned Israel's installation of a tower on the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the placement of surveillance cameras on it. It held the occupying power accountable for these practices that exceed all limits in provoking the feelings of Muslims worldwide and expand the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people. The Arab Parliament stated that "the measures of the occupation are invalid, unlawful, and a blatant violation of international law, United Nations resolutions, and UNESCO decisions, especially in light of what the State of Palestine is experiencing, particularly Gaza, in a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing, along with various violations by the oppressive occupation entity, including against cultural and civilizational heritage." It indicated that the occupation aims to alter the historical, political, demographic, and legal reality of the occupied city of Jerusalem and its holy sites, attempting to erase Palestinian Arab identity. The Parliament called for urgent international intervention to immediately stop the violations being carried out by Israel in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to take all necessary measures to halt these violations and end the genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
