A tragic incident occurred today, Tuesday, in Ismailia, Egypt, where a father stripped of parental feelings choked his four children. Ismailia's police chief, Major General Mohamed Amer, received a report from emergency police about the deaths of four children at the hands of their father (Sami M.).
Initial investigations revealed that the victims included two boys and two girls: "Imane," 12 years old; "Mohamed," 8 years old; "Khaled," 5 years old; and "Neda," 3 years old. A report on the incident was filed, and the public prosecutor was notified to conduct investigations, requesting an autopsy report to clarify the causes of death and to authorize the burial of the bodies.
Officers from the Central Investigation Department in Qantara West, Ismailia, managed to arrest the father, and the bodies were secured at the morgue of Abu Khalifa Emergency Hospital. Investigations indicated that the accused father had recently exited a drug rehabilitation facility and his four children were living with their grandmother and their divorced mother.
Further inquiries revealed that on the day of the incident, the father went to his mother-in-law's house and asked her to let him take the children for a walk, to which she agreed. He then decided to dispose of his four children, strangling them in the windows of his house before going to the mosque to perform the Fajr prayer, according to reports from Egyptian media.
