New Chairman of the United Arab Bank

The Board of Directors of the United Arab Bank has unanimously elected Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qasimi as the Chairman of the Board, succeeding Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan bin Salem Al Qasimi, who led the bank for nearly fifty years. Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qasimi expressed his sincere gratitude to the board members for their trust in electing him as Chairman, stating: "I extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan bin Salem Al Qasimi, who has led the bank for nearly fifty years and has always been a driving force for the bank’s prosperity through his wise and comprehensive management." He added, "Over the past years, the United Arab Bank has made significant progress as the Board of Directors and the bank's team worked diligently and determinedly to sustain the bank's leading position in the banking sector," noting that "we will continue our investment in talent and modern technology, as well as our ongoing commitment to providing the best banking services to our clients." Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qasimi has over 30 years of distinguished experience across various economic sectors, including finance, banking, real estate, tourism, and retail, in addition to his deep knowledge of the bank and his ability to achieve strategic goals, having served as a board member since 2011. He also holds several positions on the boards of private companies and serves as the Chairman of the Board of the "Manafie" company.
