A large explosion occurred today, Friday, at the Svilosa chemical factory in the town of Svishtov, northern Bulgaria. Local authorities reported two injuries, according to Bulgarian National Radio. The factory manager, Mikhail Kolchev, stated: "The explosion took place after a fire broke out in the factory, and the consequences have not yet been assessed." According to him, an employee at the factory and a firefighter were injured, and there was no need for medical assistance.
