Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that "we may have to impose military rule in the Russian region of Kursk." For her part, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk stated that "our military forces are planning... to open humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians in Kursk: both towards Russia and Ukraine."
