The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned and denounced the targeting of the "Al-Tabi'in" school, which shelters displaced persons in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of innocent civilians.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the UAE's firm rejection of attacks on civilians and civilian objects. It highlighted that the urgent priority is to preserve civilian lives and ensure the safe, unimpeded, and rapid delivery of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry reiterated the necessity of an immediate ceasefire to prevent further bloodshed, affirming the importance of ensuring full protection for civilians and civilian institutions under international law and treaties, and that they should not be targets in the conflict.

The UAE called on the international community to "exert maximum efforts to avoid further escalation of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and to advance all efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive and just peace."
