Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kamiński confirmed that Poland will not deport Ukrainians whose documents have expired, following Kyiv's decision not to extend passports for men of conscription age, aiming to force them back to fight. During an interview on "TVN24," Kamiński stated, "Ukrainian men will be granted temporary protection like other Ukrainian refugees; we will find a way to resolve this issue. We must act wisely and rationally, and all matters concerning Ukrainians in Poland are regulated by law. We will extend the refugee protection that is set to expire on June 30 next year." He added that "Warsaw will protect the rights of Ukrainians and will not provide their personal data to any party, including Ukraine." These statements followed Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz's announcement regarding Poland's readiness to assist Ukraine in repatriating men of military service age who fled to Poland at the onset of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
