The "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc affirmed, in a statement following its regular meeting at its central headquarters, chaired by MP Mohammad Ra'ad, that "the retreat forward is the choice of the obstinate who have exhausted their methods and capabilities, thus yielding only helplessness and failure in achieving their goals." It pointed out that "despite the vast capabilities the Zionist entity has gathered, and despite the adoption, embracing, and special care it has received from the American administration and Western countries in general, it has not gained from its brutal aggression against Gaza and its people except for disappointment and stagnation within a cycle of exposure and addiction to committing massacres, crimes, and acts of genocide against humanity, insisting on racism, denouncing the other, and practicing terrorism against the Palestinian people to subjugate them and assert dominance over them and their lands."
The bloc emphasized that "the violations and crimes committed by the Zionists at the Shifa complex in Gaza against doctors, nurses, patients, and citizens are just another revealing example of the aggressive nature of Zionism, which sees the negation of others and the nullification of their rights as a criminal justification to protect its interests and to legitimize the seizure of the rights of others and the occupation of their land." It noted that "stagnation in failure deprives its owner of sound vision, and therefore the Zionist enemy has been blinded in Gaza, where it has become wild and thuggish, deluding itself that terrorism is the way to subjugation or to assert existence or superiority, and its tyranny has made it beholden to its evils when it began to expand its targeting of those who reject its aggression, denounce its terrorist approach, and stand with the Palestinian people, defending their right to their land and their right to self-determination."
The bloc viewed the "wicked Israeli attack that led to the destruction of the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, resulting in the martyrdom of Major General Mohammad Reza Zahidi, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards in Syria and Lebanon, along with a group of his assistants, as a spectacular fall for the enemy entity on all fronts and levels, warranting a barrage of responses that are a legitimate right of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is committed to the defense of its people and their interests against the tyranny of the occupiers and the corruptors on Earth and the professionals of terrorism and crimes against humanity, with the Zionists representing a title and model for them."
The bloc strongly condemned "the ongoing aggression practiced by the Zionist entity against those opposing its occupation of Palestine," and viewed the "targeting of the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard in Syria and Lebanon and the destruction of the Iranian consulate headquarters in Damascus as a described crime that constitutes a critical turning point in the ongoing conflict, whether concerning Gaza or the future of the region."
It affirmed "the right of the Islamic Republic to punish the Zionist criminals and pursue and deter them in defense of international law, humanitarian values, the peoples of the region, and their interests in addition to the security and interests of its Iranian people and its free and rising nation." Furthermore, it offered heartfelt congratulations to "the leader of the Islamic Revolution, its officials, and its people on the martyrdom of General Zahidi, the dedicated and loyal commander along with his brothers and martyrs who shared a commitment to the choice of resistance and the defense of the oppressed and their support," praying for them from "God the Most High for high rank and for the forces and states of the resistance axis to continue their steadfastness and victory over the enemies."
The bloc emphasized "the necessity of concerted efforts to pressure the Zionist enemy to stop the genocidal crimes it is committing in Gaza against its patient inhabitants." It called on "the world to compel the Zionist entity to cease its aggression and violations against Gaza and the rights of its people, and to restore the prestige of international law, which has revealed its impotence in protecting the weak, and events have shown that a right that is not defended by the power of its owners will find no backing in a world driven by interests."
It pointed out that "our peoples must realize that protecting their identity, rights, and interests is contingent upon their ability to have the power to defend their rights and to compel the world to respect and pay attention to them. The resistance in Gaza has presented an advanced model of courage and steadfastness in defense of land and identity, as the people of Gaza have offered an inspiring example of patience, resilience, and commitment to sacrifice."
The bloc also called for "the widest participation in the ceremonies commemorating International Quds Day on the last Friday of this blessed month of Ramadan, in demonstration of commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are subjected to the most brutal and fierce aggression targeting their uprooting from their land and forcibly displacing them once again from Gaza while swallowing their rights to their homeland." It noted that "International Quds Day, which Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified) emphasized the importance of commemorating every year, is a day to enhance the unity of the nation and establish its direction toward supporting its central cause, which is the necessity of liberating Palestine and pushing back the dangers of the Zionist occupation from it, and restoring the strength of the oppressed in the region to prevent the continuation of arrogant and Zionist dominance over them and to control their position, wealth, and resources, and to thwart the project of dividing the region."
