In an effort to delay the Iranian attack on Israel and provide an opportunity for the negotiations in Doha to succeed, diplomatic communication between Qatar and Iran has been active in recent hours, according to information reported by the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth." The newspaper reveals, citing a senior official from one of the intermediary countries, that "the Qatari Prime Minister spoke with the leadership in Tehran and informed them of positive progress in the negotiations," hinting to senior Iranian officials: "You should carefully consider the feasibility of attacking Israel, for you or Hezbollah, in light of this progress." The Israeli newspaper notes that "Iran and Hezbollah are inclined to postpone the attack that was planned for a very near date." In response, the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed the continuation of discussions, indicating that "the efforts of intermediaries will continue" to reach a ceasefire, alongside the release of hostages and the introduction of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
