The Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, threatened, saying: "To the enemy who knows and to the friend to increase their faith, and to the insignificant, this resistance in Lebanon fears no war. It has managed its battle thus far within a vision and strategy but is fully prepared and ready morally, psychologically, militarily, and humanly for any war that the enemy will regret if it launches it against Lebanon."
Nasrallah, in his speech during the "Flood of the Free" festival on the occasion of Al-Quds Day, at the "Martyrs' Imam" Complex in the southern suburb, emphasized that "we must stop at the martyrs of the recent days in the brutal Israeli aggression against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which resulted in the martyrdom of several dear ones, including prominent leaders with historical significance in our path, specifically mentioning the martyr commander Mohammad Reza Zahidi, known as 'Haj Mahdavi,' stressing that 'the attack on the Iranian consulate is a pivotal event with consequences we must consider.'"
He noted that "the Operation of the Flood of Al-Aqsa was solely for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and the martyrs continue to advance in various jihad arenas."
Nasrallah highlighted that "the leader of the Islamic revolution, Ali Khamenei, emphasizes the constant stance on the Palestinian cause and the enemy entity, and Iran has made enormous sacrifices for this stance, economically, politically, and security-wise. One of the major reasons behind the wars waged against Iran and the enmity towards it is its stance towards Israel, Jerusalem, and the Palestinian resistance."
He mentioned that "until now, Iran refuses any meeting or direct negotiations with the Americans, while most countries in the world wish to speak and negotiate with the Americans. Even in the nuclear file, Iran has so far refused to engage in direct negotiations with the Americans, which has its philosophy and vision." He pointed out that "the Americans always express their readiness for direct negotiations with the Iranians, but the Iranians are not deceived."
Nasrallah affirmed that "Iran does not and will not negotiate on regional files with the Americans. When it negotiates, it will be part of a global arrangement," questioning: "If Iran now stated that it is ready for direct negotiations with the Americans, would the siege on it remain as it is now? What role would it hold then? In what room would the other players be placed?"
He considered that "anyone who analyzes and claims that what is happening in Gaza, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, and the presidential elections in Lebanon is waiting for American-Iranian negotiations is incorrect."
Nasrallah stated: "We constantly hear absurdities that everything happening in the region is an American-Iranian play or an American-Iranian scenario. I even read comments suggesting that the bombing of the consulate is part of an American-Iranian scenario to arrange the situation in the region."
He pointed out that "these individuals cannot believe anything about the victories of the resistance in the region, and any scene of victory is interpreted by the complacent and the humiliated as agreed-upon scenarios between Iran and America."
