The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division revealed that "on June 10, 2024, a dispute occurred in the town of Deir Ammar - Tyre, between two workers in the town's municipality, A. M. (born in 2008, Syrian) and A. J. (born in 1980, Syrian). The disagreement escalated into a physical altercation, with the former stabbing the latter in the left hand with a knife, and breaking the glass of a municipality truck, before fleeing to an unknown location.
On the same date, as a result of immediate follow-up, the Information Division was able to locate him in the town of Qana, where he was arrested by one of the division's patrols and handed over to the relevant unit to take the necessary legal action against him, based on judicial instructions.
In another matter, through ongoing investigation, specialized units within the Information Division managed to identify the whereabouts of a wanted individual for gunfire with military weapons in the city of Tyre, identified as M. S. (born in 1997, Palestinian).
On June 7, 2024, after precise monitoring and surveillance, one of the division's patrols managed to arrest him in the area of Al-Bass - Tyre. The detainee was transferred to the relevant authority for the necessary legal proceedings to be conducted, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judiciary."
