Portuguese striker João Félix has moved to a new club, marking the final chapter of his journey with Atlético Madrid. Chelsea announced on Wednesday evening, in an official statement, that they have signed Félix on a 6-year contract, which can be extended for an additional year. According to several reports, the transfer fee for Félix to the Blues is £44.5 million. The Portuguese international previously wore the London club's jersey for just 6 months, after being loaned from Atlético at the beginning of last year. Félix stated after his transfer to the English club: "I loved my time here before, and I told my friends and family that I would like to return to the Premier League one day." He added: "Doing that with Chelsea gives me a great feeling, and I am happy to be back."
