Al-Shallal Park in the Bani Hasan Governorate is one of the prominent tourist sites in the Al-Baha region, offering natural beauty alongside a distinguished location. It serves as a tourist resort and a destination for locals and visitors who enjoy nature. The Bani Hasan Municipality has completed the project, which aims to utilize the natural potentials of the site, enhancing the comfort and enjoyment of visitors while boosting the natural beauty adjacent to the Khayrah Forest waterfall.
The Mayor of Bani Hasan, Engineer Khalid bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, explained that Al-Shallal Park is characterized by its proximity to the Khayrah Forest waterfall and will complement the nearby Prince Mashari Park. It adds to a collection of parks and gardens in the governorate, distinguished by its beautiful views overlooking Khayrah Forest. He confirmed that the design takes into account preserving the site's topography, incorporating it into the design and implementation without cutting or burying it.
Engineer Al-Deilami noted that the park covers more than 14,000 square meters, with 9,000 square meters of green spaces, and includes nine sitting areas, as well as a waterfall and two water ponds, along with an area for children's games. The Mayor of Bani Hasan affirmed that the park features a glass overlook of the Khayrah Forest waterfall, a walkway measuring 900 meters, a prayer area for men and women, and parking spaces.
Furthermore, residents of the Al-Baha region described the park as a beautiful gem that adds splendor to the already rich tourist and natural resources of the area, qualifying it to be one of the most notable tourist destinations in the Kingdom. The lens of "WAS" captured prominent aspects of the park, highlighting the stunning natural beauty that characterizes it.
