The Lebanese Athletics Federation organized an athletics meet at the Kamil Shmon Sports City in Beirut, in preparation for upcoming national and international championships. The gathering started at 2 PM, with all events commencing on time and featuring a large number of athletes (male and female) from various affiliated clubs. The event was attended by the Vice President of the Federation Nadia Naim, Secretary General Wassim Al-Houli, Treasurer Maria Kiourkian, and Federation member Nadim Aboud. A new national record was set by athlete Mahmoud Abu Zaid from the Inter Lebanon club in the 1500m event (under 18 years) with a time of 4:04.49 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 4:05.00 minutes held by player Munir Kabbara from the Elite club.
