Mysterious Crime of an Iraqi Youth

The father of the murdered Iraqi youth, Abbas Kazim Al-Saadi, revealed today, Saturday, that his son, Muhammad Taqi, went missing under mysterious circumstances for three months, after which he was found mutilated, with his organs removed, and buried alongside two other individuals in Serbia. Al-Saadi mentioned that "his son Muhammad Taqi was returning from Serbia to Bulgaria and then to Turkey to return to Iraq due to the misery and reality he discovered in European countries, along with the difficult living conditions and widespread criminal issues there."

He added, "I contacted the Iraqi consul, Ahmad Al-Saadi, in Serbia and requested him to search for my son (Muhammad Taqi) due to his disappearance for 15 days in August of last year. He promised to disseminate official letters to all relevant authorities there." He indicated that "the consul said he followed up the matter but did not find him in jails, hospitals, or even in (detention centers), and began reassuring us that he might have gone on a trip and would call us back if he found him. This continued for three months."

He noted, "In December 2023, one of my son's friends (of Syrian nationality) called us and confirmed to my children that their brother had died naturally, according to what the Serbian Interpol was informed about by German authorities, which also sent a message to the Iraqi embassy in Serbia." He added that "when we approached governmental authorities in Iraq, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they did not allow us to enter or provide us with a death date or number."

The father further stated that "the Serbian side did not provide any details or real data regarding the incident, especially the Iraqi consul there, as he recounted the incident with several stories: first, that he was killed with two other individuals in one of the branches in Belgrade, then a week later he said that a Serbian officer came to him in the consulate and informed him, and afterward he said (Muhammad was hit with a metal rod), and lastly, that they found my son murdered near a train track."

Al-Saadi blamed "the Iraqi consul, the Serbian side, the Iraqi Interpol, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their negligence, stating that it is unacceptable for an Iraqi youth to be dismembered, buried alongside two others in the same place, and no one takes any action." He pointed out that "Serbia is a graveyard for migrants, as the authorities there collaborate with Syrians and Afghans, distributing them in detention centers and coordinating with the police to kill migrant youths, conceal the crime, and take their organs, with hundreds of similar cases existing."
