What is Hezbollah's "Obfuscation Plan"?

What is Hezbollah's

The Israeli newspaper "Ma'ariv" reported that the Israeli army has recently detected attempts by Hezbollah to obscure its surveillance capabilities. The report stated, "It began with striking Israeli army drones in the Metula area and taking control of them from a distance. Subsequently, Hezbollah has, on several occasions, launched a large number of rockets at Mount Meron." It continued, "Among other things, Hezbollah targeted the radar antennas of the air surveillance unit of the air force, while simultaneously working to destroy surveillance systems at numerous sites along the border."

According to the newspaper, "The damage incurred by the Israeli army's surveillance balloon today is a continuation of Hezbollah's efforts to destroy the Israeli army's surveillance assets, but it is also a continuation of Hezbollah's escalation trend in recent days." In recent days, such attacks have been recorded in the Kiryat Shmona, Ramot Naftali, and Emek HaHula areas, as well as in regions of Western Galilee.

For its part, Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that it had targeted a launch and control base for an Israeli surveillance balloon over the Admeth area in northern Israel, resulting in the balloon's malfunction. In a statement, it said: "We consecutively targeted three assets related to the balloon: its launch base, which was destroyed, the control mechanism, which was completely destroyed, and its management crew, which was directly hit with members killed and wounded."

The Israeli balloon that had its base hit by rockets in the vicinity of "Admeth" near the border with Lebanon is still lost in the skies after escaping from the targeted base.
