U.S. President Joe Biden lost his temper in front of a TikToker during a private meeting at the White House with social media influencers, threatening to throw his phone across the room. The journalist and social media influencer, Jonathan M. Katz, began recording Biden's voice to press him on his support for Israel during the Gaza war and asked what he would do to prevent the "genocide" occurring with U.S.-funded weapons. The U.S. President attempted to evade the questions, claiming he was working to reduce civilian casualties in the region. However, his patience wore thin when Katz pressed him with further questions, and Biden angrily said, "I know you're a typical journalist... but I trust you as far as I can throw your phone. I have a good arm. I can throw it a long way."
Katz stated that aides contacted him after the conversation and took him away from Biden. He later posted the video on his TikTok account, which has nearly 70,000 followers. Katz noted on his news site "Racket" that he was surprised to receive an invitation to the White House last April, which included a group of left-leaning social media stars and celebrities. He found it "ironic" to be invited to the White House even after the President signed a bill banning TikTok, revealing that among the White House guests were well-known representatives.
