"The TikTokers Case": Will Sweden Agree to Extradite "Jay"?

The Lebanese judiciary has received a response from the Swedish authorities regarding the request for assistance sent to investigate the accused in the "TikTokers" case, Paul M., known as "Jay," for his involvement in financing the detained members of the network. Judicial sources informed "An-Nahar" that Sweden hinted it does not extradite its citizens, and since Paul M. holds Swedish nationality, it expressed a willingness to assist in investigating the accused regarding certain issues related to the Lebanese file.

According to the information, Sweden requested the judiciary to provide evidence presented against him in preparation for investigating him based on it. Like Lebanon, Sweden does not extradite its citizens, as per these sources, noting that the stage has not yet reached a request for the extradition of Paul M. from Sweden, considering that the interrogative investigation in this case has not yet begun before the first investigating judge in Mount Lebanon, who will take the necessary actions, including issuing the required arrest warrants.

In this context, the number of detainees has risen to 13, with the 13th detainee being someone who lured minors. The public prosecution in Mount Lebanon had charged 17 individuals with the crime of luring minors and sexually assaulting them after administering drugs in juices and human trafficking. According to the data, a quantity of this drug was seized in a shop belonging to one of the detainees. There remains one person unarrested according to the public prosecution.
