Cautious Calm in the South... and Illuminating Bombs at Night

A cautious calm prevails on the southern front with Israel. At night, Israeli warplanes conducted sorties over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line after midnight and dropped illuminating bombs in the sky over the region. In contrast, the Israeli army announced, "We have detected several rockets that crossed Lebanese territory and landed in open areas." Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote in a post on his account on the platform "X": "Last night, warplanes attacked a Hezbollah command post in the Hanawiya area and infrastructure in the Aita al-Shaab region in southern Lebanon." Adraee added, "Additionally, the planes attacked a launch pad used by Hezbollah in the Aita al-Shaab area, from which rocket shells were fired yesterday (Thursday) towards the Birnit area in the upper Galilee, with no injuries reported."
