Egyptian Artist Reveals Crimes of the

Screenwriter Mohamed Salah Al-Azab revealed that he has begun writing a new series titled "Tajammu Serial Killer," which addresses the crimes and cases of the killer "Karim," famously known as the "Tajammu Serial Killer." In his statements to "Al-Arabiya.net," Al-Azab mentioned that he spoke with artist Hassan El-Raddad and presented the idea to him, which he found very interesting. They have met multiple times in recent days to finalize the show's attributes, which are expected to offer many surprises to the audience.

Al-Raddad is very enthusiastic about the role, particularly since he is well-acquainted with the case. After the project started, he has been closely following the investigations related to the case and has begun watching videos that the killer had posted on social media to teach English, aiming to understand the apparent personality traits of this individual.

Al-Azab noted that he felt deeply provoked by this case, especially since the perpetrator is a public figure who managed to deceive the audience for a long time and hid behind his fame to trap and murder his victims. Therefore, he believes this character deserves attention, and the details of the case merit a first-class crime series.

He stated that he has completed several episodes of the series, which will be short, totaling no more than ten episodes, making it likely to be released on one of the streaming platforms in the near future. Additionally, the show will not strictly adhere to the actual events committed by the "Tajammu Serial Killer," as it is not a documentary about this person, but rather a dramatic work. Thus, it will include fictional events, possibly featuring more crimes than those committed by the killer, as well as incorporating other crimes with complex details derived from the writer’s imagination.

Al-Azab also revealed that he has nominated actresses Salma Abu Deif and Hanan Metawe for the lead roles in the series, with one portraying a victim and the other playing the character of the killer's wife, who managed to escape to London.

It is noteworthy that security forces arrested the "Tajammu Serial Killer," accused of killing three women and disposing of their bodies in desert areas in the provinces of Port Said and Ismailia in late May. It was found that he lured the women to his apartment in one of the housing complexes in the Fifth Settlement area of Cairo. Investigations in the case continue after the decision to refer him to the criminal court.
