Former U.S. President and presidential candidate Donald Trump revealed an unexpected reason for not wanting to take pictures with his son Barron Trump, admitting that it is due to his height. Barron Trump is the son of former President Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump.
In an interview with social media star Logan Paul on Thursday, which aired on YouTube, Trump confirmed this while talking about his son, stating, "He's a big boy. He’s six feet nine inches tall. I couldn’t get him to play basketball. He plays football; he’s a good athlete." He also added, "I tell Barron, I don’t want to take a picture next to you."
Donald Trump stands at 6 feet 1 inch (approximately 185 cm), while his son Barron is 6 feet 9 inches tall (nearly 2 meters and 1 cm). Donald dislikes standing next to his son because he doesn't like being photographed looking shorter than him, a rumor that has circulated for half a decade but was confirmed by Trump himself in the recent interview.
Notably, the rumors about Trump preferring not to be photographed next to his son due to his height began in 2019 when promoting his book "Siege: Trump Under Fire." In an interview with host Lawrence O'Donnell, author Michael Wolff discussed this aversion when Barron was 12 years old.
Barron Trump entered the political arena recently after being selected by the Republican Party as one of Florida's delegates last May. The 18-year-old graduated from high school last month, but his parents have yet to reveal where or if he plans to attend college in the fall, as reported by the Daily Mail.
