The news of the death of Abdullah Al-Harthi, a member of the Saudi Ministry of Health, while performing his duties in the holy sites, has caused widespread sorrow among social media users. Abdullah bin Abdul Karim Al-Harthi, a supervisor of health centers in the Jamraat sector, passed away three days ago while preparing to serve pilgrims. Social media activists circulated the news of his passing, expressing their grief and offering prayers for mercy and forgiveness.
The first to comment on the death was Saudi Health Minister Fahd Al-Jalajel, who mourned Al-Harthi with heartfelt words, writing in a tweet on X: "Our dear colleague Abdullah bin Abdul Karim Al-Harthi passed away while serving the guests of the Most Merciful in the holy sites as part of a long journey of giving, dedicating himself to his mission and making a significant impact in the lives of many. May God forgive him and have mercy on him... My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return."
Many staff members from the health organization and directorate also mourned him, particularly since he had been a leader in the health sector in the Kingdom for over 30 years, participating in most Hajj seasons throughout those years. The Saudi newspaper "Al-Madina" reported that Al-Harthi "prepared health plans to receive the guests of the Most Merciful at the Jamraat Bridge, then left this life."
Abdullah bin Abdul Karim Al-Harthi was one of the prominent leaders in the Taif Health Cluster, and he served as the executive director of inventory management. He was assigned this year to work in the holy sites after achieving considerable success in his leadership roles within the health sectors during previous Hajj seasons.
