The Islamic Revolution Leader in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, addressed the pilgrims of the House of God, emphasizing that "the issue of disavowal this year is more prominent than in any previous time. The unprecedented tragedies in Gaza in our contemporary history, and the arrogance of the merciless Zionist entity, which is a manifestation of cruelty and tyranny on the verge of collapse, have left no room for complacency or alliance for any individual, party, government, or Muslim group. Disavowal must continue this year in a manner that surpasses the pilgrimage season and its timeframe, reaching all countries and cities inhabited by Muslims around the world, and extending beyond the pilgrims to every individual."
He noted that "this disavowal of the Zionist entity and its supporters, particularly the administration in the United States, should manifest in both words and actions by governments and peoples, tightening the noose around the oppressors." Khamenei stated, "We must support the steadfast resistance of Palestine in every possible way and stand by the patient, oppressed people of Gaza, whose remarkable patience and resistance have led the world to commend and revere them."
