Iranian Balloon for Free Internet for Arbaeen Visitors: Where is it Located?

The Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology stated that communication balloons are used to provide telecommunication services in special and critical situations, as well as during interruptions in terrestrial communication services. He added that one of these balloons is currently offering free internet to Iranian visitors at the Mehran border.

For years, the Iranian Ministry of Communications has been providing exceptional services to Arbaeen visitors, one of which is a space agency balloon, tasked with providing free internet. Instead of resisting the winds, these internet balloons use "artificial intelligence" to change their altitude and utilize air currents to reach their destination. This capability can lead them on long or complex paths; however, they do not require much energy. Additionally, these balloons can offer more stable internet access.

Thus, communication balloons are stationary balloons that can be placed at heights of up to 500 meters to deliver internet to users during critical times. In this regard, Eissa Zare'pour, the Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stated that communication balloons are utilized to provide telecommunications services in special and critical situations when terrestrial communication services are interrupted. He further noted that during this period, a new generation of control platforms for communication balloons has been developed, and currently, one of these balloons is providing free internet for visitors at the Mehran border.

It is worth mentioning that the General Director of Communications in Ilam Province revealed last year the deployment of space balloons and the establishment of a free Wi-Fi canopy at Shahid Soleimani Station on the Mehran border by the Space Research Institute.
