The Department of Estimates in the Meteorological Service expects the weather tomorrow, Wednesday, to be generally partly cloudy with a noticeable rise in temperatures in the mountains and inland areas, reaching close to 39 degrees. The increase on the coast will be limited, with high humidity making the heat feel more intense due to the return of the thermal inversion phenomenon. Thick fog will develop in the mid-elevations, reducing visibility.
The bulletin states the following:
- General situation: Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin are gradually affected by warm air masses originating from the Arabian Peninsula, leading to a rise in temperatures, peaking on Thursday where inland temperatures exceed seasonal averages by about 9 degrees, continuing until the end of the week.
- Note: The average temperatures for June in Beirut range from 22 to 30, in Tripoli from 20 to 29, and in Zahle from 16 to 32.

- Thursday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with an additional slight rise in temperatures on the coast, and light layers of dust appearing in the atmosphere with high humidity, increasing the sensation of heat.
