Title: Surge in Sales of Generators in Israel Due to Fears of War with Hezbollah

Warnings from an Israeli energy official about the ease with which Hezbollah could disrupt the electricity grid have created confusion and concern among residents of northern Israel, prompting them to purchase electricity generation products. According to Israeli channel 12, immediately following remarks by Shaul Goldstein, the executive director of the company responsible for managing the electricity grid, "Nega," there was a fivefold increase in generator searches on the commercial network's site.

It was reported that there was a 24% spike in product sales compared to the daily average during this period. It was explained that with the closure of stores in one commercial chain on Friday, there was a 108% jump in sales of these products compared to regular Fridays.

The sales surge was not limited to the north; the majority of the demand was recorded at the Haifa branch, followed by Tel Aviv, Kiryat, Rishon Lezion, and Ashdod. Electricity warehouses also reported a major deal where a property owner in Tel Aviv transferred 18 units of power plants to the tenants of his building, which can be charged using solar panels.

The electricity sector management official confirmed in the statement that sparked the controversy that Israel is unprepared for a real war. Goldstein added that Hezbollah could easily knock out the electricity grid in Israel and that "it is not possible to guarantee the availability of electricity in Israel in a future war; we are prepared for all possible scenarios."
