The suspect was apprehended, and an examination of his phone revealed video clips of him harassing female students in the Quran memorization center.
Further investigations revealed new surprises in the case involving an imam in Giza accused of harassing minors and secretly recording them. "Sheikh Mustafa" was not merely a Quran teacher; he was also a lawyer, a religious singer, and a personal development trainer.
Investigations indicated that "Sheikh Mustafa" exploited his religious status to harass girls and record them without their knowledge, according to Egyptian media today. The suspect, who is 32 years old, is married with children and worked at a Quran memorization center in Badrashin. He inadvertently sent a sexual message to one of the girls who was memorizing the Quran with him.
The girl's father did not hesitate to file a complaint, prompting the criminal investigation department to examine the incident and confirm its authenticity. Upon arrest, the suspect admitted during the investigation that he filmed the girls while harassing them and transferred these clips to both his phone and personal computer. He indicated that he retained these clips to watch later to release his sexual energy.
